Description

The blue badge parking is just before you cross the cattle grid on your right when coming from Nolten Haven. There is parking on the road for other cars.

Go through the gate towards the sea on the tarmac path where there is a viewing area and bench. Then turn left at the end and follow the tarmac path to the end for the spectacular view and picnic area. You will see that there is a lot of coastal erosion and do not let your dog off the lead as it is dangerous amongst the undergrowth on your right.

At the picnic spot on a post there is a small location frame to put your camera on and then send the image for a coastal erosion  watch program. Number next to the post.

Elsewhere on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path web site it mentions that you can go on an adventurous walk further past the end viewing point. In 2024 this has now washed out as unsuitable for a wheelchair. However if you go back to the first tarmac section where you turned left (see photo below) go through the gate to the right onto the grassy section. This is downhill and not very even but we managed OK. Great views down over Druidston beach at next gate. You can then either return or go through the gate onto the main road.

Suitable for

Non powered wheelchair – self propelled – All terrain wheelchair. Power wheelchair / mobility scooters /

Adventure section – Power wheelchair   and very confident all terrain wheelchair user

Unfortunately at this time September 2024 the hedgerow is too high to see the sea from you car. The coastpath here also is not suitable for wheelchairs.
